I'm curious if someone knows what braket is missing. (Another braket is missing in the area - I saw it on the diagram).

The one that goes around the torque tube that the WG mounts to? _________________ 80 Turbo - Slightly Modified

Yes - that one.
I thought there was enough support.
That's how I found the car and so it's left. _________________ 1980 Porsche 924 Turbo (931) diamond silver metallic/helios blue metallic

Try to refurb steering gear and steering drive shaft.
First steering gear could not be repaired because the casing was strapped.
Fortunately, I have another steering gear and I send it to refurb.
1980 drive shaft is impossible to repair because the bearings (cross with bearings) are not available anymore - there are too small 13 mm.
On the other hand, 1985 has larger bearings (15 mm) and can be repaired. That's done and ready to put on the car.

I've finished mounting the steering box and steering drive shaft (column).
I refilled the AC device with refrigerant.
I intend to change several brake parts. (in the picture are only a small part of the spare parts).
I left the turbo wheels at a refurbished rim workshop.
I need to rebuild exhaust J pipe. (pipe is crooked). At 4,000 RPM it makes a lot of noise. The escaping air melted the sound insulation

The air conditioner compressor loses oil.
I cleaned the compressor and I will check again where exactly it loses oil. (if it loses oil on connections or the compressor is defective).
Can I buy a set of seals (orings)?
Apart from these oil losses, all the compressor parameters are correct.
The first option would be to fix this compressor.

If it's losing oil, your HVAC system isn't holding pressure...the R-12 (assuming it's not converted) is leaking out too, right? If the compressor really is leaking oil it would have to be, I'm just making sure.
Compressors are rebuildable, assuming you can still get seals, but I've never done it. I assume you're seeing oily residue? Generally leaky compressors that I've had have leaked from the shaft area, is that what you're seeing?

In Romania I have not found someone to refill with R12. I do not think it has R12 anymore because the compressor loses oil.
The man who worked at the car said that the compressor still puts pressure very well when working.
How can I convert the compressor to a newer refrigerant? _________________ 1980 Porsche 924 Turbo (931) diamond silver metallic/helios blue metallic

Before you convert it, you need to make sure you fix the leaks. After that, conversion is mostly a matter of replacing all the o-rings, flushing as must of the old oil out as you can and then you need to replace it with an oil compatible with R-134a (assuming that's what you're converting it to). To avoid issues with any mineral oil left over, I'd use POE rather than PAG oil. From there the process is the same, new receiver drier, vacuum it down good, then fill. Oh, and the fill ports will need an adapter for the new refrigerant.

I'm not sure yet. I have not checked yet. That's why I cleaned the compressor to see where it leaks first.
joints
pipeline
shaft
big oring front and back
I'll come back with pictures.

I checked again today.
The main suspect is the big o-ring from the back cap / lid.
I found a service that wants to repair the compressor from the car (at least they will try).

AC compressor is completely dismantled.
Tomorrow I will find out if all the spare parts are available.
