I have never put aftermarket rims on a 931. Looking for a light set for Sabine now, something not too far of in offset. These are 5 x 100 with a 48 offset, will they fit without messing around the fenders ?

Because these are a G for the SET, not each lol.

Wait I may have made a mistake though. Are ours 5 x 100 or 5 x 130...?

Yeah, I don't really care about 'period correct' on Sabine. Olive is my correct car and will stay so as long as I own her.

Sabine is the hotter, younger sister that likes EDM, Molly and all night raves...she isn't afraid to think outside the 'period correct' box, lol.

For what you pay for genuine JDM BBS forged rims you can't beat something like those...and only 7 Kg each !!

If you're going to go fast and furious on us, then I would suggest a set of these Volk Racing TE37's

Cheap, light and safe, choose 2....

Anyway, 5x130 on all 5 lug Porsches. You can use a conversion spacer if you have an inch of ET to spare.

I think genuine BBS forged rims designed for a fat 'ol Subie STI will have no problem holding up to a 2500 lb. 931....

I really like those Volks as well. Will look at the minilights but they always seems destined for a 280ZX.

I've been running the 6 inch Cookie Cutters on my race car and they worked fine. Recently the rules allowed me to go to a 7 inch rim. I got a set of 7 inch Cookies and mounted the same tire (Hoosier 205-50-15) on the sevens. The front goes all the way out to the fender well since the extra inch on the seven inch Cookie is to the outside. As for the rears, I had to take the factory spacer out to mount the sevens. Then I found out that the wheel studs were not threaded all the way down. I was able to get a 5 mm spacer for the rear for the wheel nuts to fully seat. The rear tires fit nicely in the wheel well while filling it.
I guess the best looking solution would be 6 inch Cookies on the front and 7 inch on the rear but I really like that extra front track for cornering.

Strange, my studs at the rear are threaded all the way in, ive been running cookie sevens all around for years. Up front is fine on a track oriented car, since you should run maxed out negative camber that will tilt in the wheel significantly. Agree that for a full street car the 6s would fit better. They are light and durable. But if you look at the jap wheels above i think cookies are out of the scope
