So, any word on that white/red '80 S?

Cheers

I can happily say that as of February 2019, there are at least four 931s in various conditions still in the Metro Detroit area. Mine, Vaughan's, one that's getting it's engine rebuilt, and another that needs a cosmetic restoration.

Might this be the highest density of 931s in a single area the US?

Hmm, I now have 3 sitting in WVa and one in my driveway. None run though. My goal is to figure out how to get them running in my spare time.

I looked at two earlier this month in the Phoenix area...mostly complete but pretty much trashed. They could be restored with enough effort and money but I decided to pass at this time. I have thought about picking them up to part them out...but then again I don't know if the effort would be worth it considering what the owner wants for them!

Any thoughts about values?

Yeah, I recently got two Golden Retriever pups and my spare time is now in the negative range. But I'm comforted by the thought that the turbos are appreciating by about a dollar a month. 356's and early 911s are still appreciating at about $500/month so I'm holding out hope for the 924Ts.

Got myself a really nice 931 1982 here in Sweden. Got it running last year from standing still in a barn since 2008. More fix to do with the fuel system but after that I will drive it around this summer.

A couple of weeks ago I did take the plunge and bought the two sad girls I spoke of back in February. I'm not quite sure what my plans are for them yet but whatever they are I'm sure these two will keep me busy for a bit!

The initial clean up was a real joy considering the residents who had "homesteaded" in each of them over the years...yuck!!!
