There were both 3.0 and 3.2 liter engines for 956/962... 962C had mostly 3.2liter engines. _________________ '83 924 2.6 16v Turbo, 470hp

My 924 actually has electric seats, from 993, also electric windows, mirrors, sound system (although stealth). Non-sunroof though.

Must be a real challenge keeping the head cool.
I remember seeing a 968 Turbo running several years ago at Road America. He was cleaning everybody's clock, passing at will. Eventually succumbed to burnt valves forcing him to pit. It was a work in progress. A few years earlier I had the opportunity to meet Grant Larson. I asked why Porsche stopped pursuing the 968T. "Marketing" was his response. Didn't want to alienate the 911 purists. You obviously got the message. _________________ 1981 931 (Concours)

What do you mean head cool? My head or cylinder head? Have no problems with either..
Wrong tuning can cause many issues, too retarded ignition angle is no1 cause for burnt exhaust valves.
Smoked my friends re-tuned 500 hp 996TT without much effort.. And I don't care what others think, I built my car for fun for myself, let snobs cry.. _________________ '83 924 2.6 16v Turbo, 470hp

There are several people running lots of boost into these engines.
Gustav burström has well over 800 in his time attack car, though not at all std.

I know his car and him very well, met several times in person and raced few times on the same track few years ago.
Clutch in my car came from his race car. _________________ '83 924 2.6 16v Turbo, 470hp

Ha, good one. I meant cylinder head, but I suppose either could apply. Congrats on your success. I envy what you have accomplished.
