I have been trouble shooting the turn signals in my 1981 Porsche 924. They will not click off. After studying the switch and the video on you tube
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brFDN8OykvA
I think the spring that is supposed to keep the white tab pushed towards the steering shaft is missing. The video talks about this and what the spring does and where it mounts. I would like to make one so this switch functions again. It did work when I got the car but in the course of teardown it must have slipped out and got lost. Not knowing what it looks like I am kind of at a loss of how to make one. Does anyone know what that spring looks like and what is it's material (leaf or spring wire) and size of leaf and wire and any other pertinent facts.
Thanks in advance. ---Ted
