hi guys i have porsche 924 n/a 1981 and am swapping in an audi/vw 1.8T because my motor was blown when i baught the car and parts are expensive and difficult to get in South Africa. i wanted to know if there are any bolt in transaxle upgrades i can make. if i get a 944 transaxle what will all need to be changed and is the any bolt on option looking for about 300hp max _________________ zubair solomon |

944 has a larger input shaft so get the torque tube also. The shift linkage should be the same, but if it's available you might get it also. Someone else will have to comment about the clutch disc. Check the engine swap section there have been several. _________________ Mike

A Bronco II clutch disc will work...has right spline arrangement for the larger 944 driveshaft. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |
