My Porsche direct supplier told me last week about a new program Porsche is offering to request NLA parts through their "Classic" program.

The great news is that some recently NLA parts are now starting to show up again:
  • grub screws in various sizes: 046.109.453.C, .D, .E, .F
  • NA and 931 block breather adapter: 052.103.129.A and 931.107.063.00
  • t-stat bypass hose: 046.121.053
However, there is an alarming list of parts that are still NLA, many of which are required for proper full-engine rebuild (list to follow below).

Here is the link that allows you to submit a request of part numbers.
https://my.porsche.com/international/accessoriesandservice/classic/genuineparts/notesonavailability/

Unfortunately, you can only do one at a time, but if everybody here started submitting these requests, maybe these things would become available again.

Here is the list I have. Would you all help me by posting each of these part numbers? And please reply to this thread with any additional part numbers you are aware of that are NLA so we have one place to track it.

Here's just a selection, the later graphics for the outside/car body:

20 - "924" - rear of car - 477853625B (black) 477853625C (silver)
21 - "924 Turbo" - rear of car - 477853627 (black) 477853627A (silver)
22 - "PORSCHE" - rear of car - 447853635B (black) 447853635C (silver)
23 - "924" sill script - 477853721B (L) 477853722B (R)
24 - "turbo" sill script - 477853721 (L) 477853722 (R)

Note that there were some variations... if you're picky on historical accuracy, best to look at the PET...

So an update on this old thread... first of all, the link to request replacement parts has changed, here's the latest:
https://www.porsche.com/usa/accessoriesandservices/classic/genuineparts/notesonavailability/

Now contemplating a new original dash... not cheap, but damn...

Thanks, Vaughan!

Seems like it's getting better and better for NLA part, at least a little at a time.

Downward acting internal pawls for the front door handles from 81 to 82 are all broken, a replacement would apparently save a bunch of mk1 golfs. I am doing a door handle wipe.

If Ideola sees this post again it could be gret to update it
For information, rose passion made few about one year ago the famous cracking exhaust manifold which is specific to 931. Good to see for community, but soo expensive though 900€ However it's still cheaper than old Porsche stocks for sale at 2500€
