Hey guys,
New member here. I Recently bought a 1985 924 and I intend to restore it to as original as possible. My car has had a carburetor conversion done and my question is how would I go about restoring it back to the original injection system? Is this doable?
Thanks in advance |

Hi and welcome aboard!
Yes it can be done, you just have to find all the parts.
Be aware this will not be cheap. Also, it is recommended to have the fuel distributor and warm up regulator professionally rebuild as they are the two main cause of problem related to CIS (apart from vacuum leak) and for reliability. _________________ 1976 924 N/A ROW SOLD

Thanks. Will definitely look into getting professional help for the fuel distributor and warm up regulator. As far as parts go, where would you recommend sourcing them? I've used Rosepassion previously and they're great but they don't have everything. |

I would try sourcing all parts from someone scrapping a 924 nearby, then they can be had very cheaply. And then rebuild wur and fuel distributor.
If you can't find them maybe try the Swedish board 944sverige.com _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

All OEM parts on Rosepassion can be had from an Official Porsche Centre. If they are not listed on Rosepassion, then they are not available at Porsche. _________________ 1980 931 - forged pistons, Piper cam, K27/26 3257 6.10 hybrid turbo, 951 FMIC, custom intake, Mittelmotor dizzy & cam pulley, H&S exhaust, GAZ Gold, Fuch'ed, Quaife
