So with three days to go until the 40th Anniversary of this event I am virtually the sole 924 registered for the event. I think there are a couple of 924s' registered. This is going to be a great event this year.

Videos and updates to come.

No Pictures?

I'm from Watkins Glen, but don't often get to events.

Good find. I thought this post had been lost. I do have pictures and some video footage from the last few years.

If you go to www.finishlinephoto.com and look under the May long weekend of 2015 (2016 I took my MINI Cooper S)

also there is Tracktimephotos. http://www.tracktimephotos.com/gallery_view.php?move=next
My car is the black 924 with Blue bumpers. It has grown on me. LOL

Here is a link to my youtube channel as well. I always try to catch a couple of runs.

You bet. We have the Air BnB all rented and waiting. Just waiting for the registration to open.

Will you be there?

Do you have a link for the event?

I’ll try to be! We may be relocating to PA this Summer, but still within a 2-hour drive.

Got it, but no registration up yet. Did find they're looking for volunteers for a few things. Maybe something I can look into if I can't afford the track day.

They are always looking for Volunteers. The weekend itself is a fantastically run event. I always enjoy it.

If you do end up coming, event to watch we are normally parked with the 356, 912 of the Hunters on the inside of corner 12 under the big trees. Stop in and say Hi.

Oh I hope you enjoyed the videos.

I'll be shooting for meeting up if possible.

Definitely enjoyed the vids! I've only been on the track in a racing capacity at a NASA event (only rode as a passenger) and an SCCA H-stock (was allowed to take my friends Fiat 124 around the track). Both were quite some time ago though.

Right now I have a few things to get going on the 924 including an oil and fuel leak. But hopefully it won't be too bad to repair before this comes up. I also need to synch my carbs, install a new fuel pump, and convert the distributor to electronic vs. points.
