If someone has the car with this VIN...I have the warranty book to go with it

I picked up a 80 931 user manual with warranty book and little vinyl folder for a couple bucks on fleabay, didn't know it would come with some really cool history. Looks like the car was originally purchased from Brumos Porsche in Jacksonville

Like I said, let me know if you have the car and I will get this thing to you. Will require a pic of the vin The brumos service center stamp is cool, not gonna give it away.

Cheers!

Hi Ian,

I stumbled up your post, because I recognized 93A.. from old memory and that it traces back to GT/GTS/GTR cars. In the book "The porsche 924 Carrera - Evolution to excellence" the writer mentions five pre-production prototypes for 924 GT with similar type of VIN. They are:

93A0190001
93A0140132
93A0150562
93A0140203
93A0141093

These are the ones known from apparently from Porsche's own records. Maybe you should ask them? The book also mentions that there are other prototypes whose VIN is not yet confirmed. Anyway, I think what you have there might be quite special.

Br, Mikko

JamesM,

Man that is close!

Mikko,

Great idea...I may have to hit them up. That would be very cool if it were a more special car.

All,

Thanks for the reply's, almost forgot I posted this. The book is for an S1 turbo, I purchased it off the fleabay so that mine could have an owners manual with it.

Cheers!
Ian

Ok, I wasn't aware of that S1's have the same kind of VIN. Anyway, those prototypes might still exist in a barn somewhere? Would be cool to find one
