What is the progress here?
The test board on .com works really well and there we really need to sort out the issue of pics!
In all my years on the different boards I have always had a detaild build thread about what I have done and how. This has been valuable to me and also to a lot of other people. But Photobucket killed ALL my posts on all fourms for ALL my cars!
I have a lot of pictures on my progress of the 931 Rally Monte Carlo Historique. Just waiting for a chance to show them
The test board:

It is pretty much ready to go. I need to get a logo or something to dress it up.
We just need to start posting to it!
Cool feature I added is the knowledge base. We can organize write-ups etc... so they are easy to find.
The cost to run it is minimal, even with hosting the pictures. _________________ 1981 Weissach Edition #179 |

http://924board.com ?
Don't much like it..
It's a fine forum I'm sure but it's not 924board.org..
I agree with morghen that I would like it to stay the same, not recreate a whole new forum, just add image hosting..
If you can't simply add image hosting to this forum then you could just create something like 924host.org with a server and we could have and maintain our own image server without touching 924board.org at all.. Our own personal 924 photobucket along side 924board.org the same way 924.org is done..
Put a simple link up top by the "924 Registry" link to 924host.org and bam done.. _________________ 80 Turbo - Slightly Modified |

I agree, and the intent was not to replace.org but just a proof of concept. Peter would need to upgrade this board and add the plugin. He has it hosted with a friend or something.
I can play with .com and see if I can make it a picture hosting type site. The knowledge base would still be good to use. _________________ 1981 Weissach Edition #179 |
