Trying to get my '77 running again, it's been down over a year. When I turn on the ignition I don't have any warning lights. Neither oil indicator or alternator. Cranking it over to get oil pressure, oil pump packed etc. The total dash appears dead.
Suggestions as to where to look? _________________ Mike

Update. With the key in the run position the turn signal indicator light is a dull green and flasher relay buzzes. If the turn signals are turned on, they do work. Does this mean the flasher relay is just bad? _________________ Mike

Found it. I had to take the seat out in order to crawl under the dash looking at the flasher relay but found that the black wire that powers all the lights and several of the gauges was pulled out of one of the T6 connectors. Since it is quite difficult to put back in securely and the other side of the connection is probably loose on the pin I will go back tomorrow and splice it as it is critical to operation.
After the gauges came on, I cranked it over without sparkplugs and got a bit over 2kg/-- oil pressure so it should be ready to fire up. _________________ Mike

Hopefully you had the fuel pump disabled while doing this cranking... _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"
