Clark Fletcher, creator of the "Clarks Garage" website died in a diving accident this past weekend.
His contributions to helping all 924/944 owners maintain and repair our cars cannot be overstated. He freely shared his extensive knowledge with us, and will be missed greatly.
God's speed to him, condolences to his family. _________________ 1988 924S (current and forever car)

that is very sad
I know this is probably not the right moment but will there be a fund raise to keep his site up? _________________ 1979 924 NA |

Quite upset to hear about this. He helped many people, myself included. His website is my go-to for technical specs on these cars.
RIP Clark.

Sorry to hear this...
For those asking about what will happen to his site: when I heard the news I downloaded it as completely as I could (the forum is not able to be downloaded as such). I intend to host a mirror of the site for as long as I'm able at http://clarks-garage.lostriverweb.com/ . It is such an invaluable resource to the community and I'm grateful Clark took the time to work on this for us all to use. I hope it sticks around. |
