Car is running the 3L 968 motor, 60mm ITB's, custom cams, running just over 300hp,

The car is very light, its has no glass all perspex and lots of fiberglass, it is a 924 with the engine mounts cut from a 968 to accommodate the engine and gearbox changes.

The limiting factor is i am running a 951 gearbox at the moment, so the gears are too long, 177 in 3rd etc... I am rebuilding a 6 speed at the moment.

The other thing is that i dont run slicks, just toyo R888's and i have no grip, so slipping around a bit,

Cheers Rob

I think I'm in love with your engine

Why is your shifter so loose? I would think you are at risk for mis-shifts with as much play side to side that you have in that video.

Add some chassis stiffening before going on slicks..actually you could do it now too and it would be a good idea

I had some real issues with the shifter breaking when i first ran the car, the plastic bit that holds the ball joint at the bottom kept heating up, getting loose and coming out, so i replaced it with a rose joint, this makes the gearstick move around a lot, i hadent noticed it while driving but it looks bad in the video,

Will come up with a fix before the next race!
