The place I sent mine to for rebuild apparently wants to take their time even in getting a quote, so I have requested my hoses to be returned. I will do it myself like you.
Here is a detailed post from a VW Bus guy -at some point buses switched from carb to L-jetronic. I guess most of their hoses are just clamped. Anyways, he recommends Bus Boys or Bus Depot for the 7mm hose and clamps. He also recommends checking everything once a year, which is good advice! There another thread around that I saw showing buses on fire-so it is something we in the 924 world should keep in mind.
