I am reinstalling the rad in my '80 NA and there is a problem with the lower two rad mounts on the lower valence.
I am fairly sure that 14 months ago i removed M6 bolts that fastened the rad to the body, but now there is nothing to thread the M6 bolt into. There is a slotted bracket there for the rad and the skid plate. The bracket looks like it would hold a captive nut but there is nothing in there nor does there seem to be a way to get a nut in there.
The parts catalog says a M6 bolt is used but there is no mention of a nut.
So have I lost a couple of parts or am I just stunned and missing something obvious?

There should be two capture nuts for the lower radiator mounting point. The crimps that hold them in place were probably widened and the nuts fell out (I hate it when that happens ). You should be able to get an m6 nut back in there though.

Cheers,
