Great info! I'm in the process of doing this, could you tell me which color wire goes on each terminal of the switch and motor? _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"

So, I finally got back around to this project and managed to finally pull the wiring for the rear wiper switch. Basically, it runs behind the fuse panel where there are two plugs and a ground wire.
One plug has two green wires with a white connector, the other has two green wires with a spade terminal. The ground is plugged in at the ground ring up behind the fuse panel. Not too bad of a job, I was able to get this all swapped over this evening and it all looks completely stock. Later this week I'll swap the hatches and that should complete the job!

Okay, I finished this up this swap last night...
So if you want to install a rear wiper on your 924S, you will need the switch and the wiring that runs from the switch to the fuse box area, that I posted above.
Finally swap the hatches. This involves unplugging the wiring behind the carpeting and pull it out. Then you'll need to remove the hatch struts and after wards unscrew interior trim piece then unbolt the hatch.
The donor car was a white '87 924S and the recipient was my '88 924S that did not have the bracket for a motor. This meant I was going to have to either mod the hatch or swap one in either way. Something to note was, my other two '87 924S' have this bracket and if yours does maybe you could just get a motor and run the wiring, but it it may not look as clean.
Its a pretty easy install if you have a donor car and a helper to swap the hatches. I made a short video on the process and will put this in the how-to section!

I hope that helps!

I'm putting this on my to-do list. I have a metal plug in the hatch of mine, so I don't think I'll have to swap anything. If I can't find a louver, I'm gonna install a rear wiper. This thread has been extremely informative. _________________ If at first you succeed, failure is imminent.
