I'm about a week or two of occasional night from putting an 80 back on the road.
It was not running with a wiring disaster and no door/hatch tumblers when I got it. It is now running again and as soon as I get tumblers for it, I will start using it daily.
Anyway, hello 924 world! |

I host my pics at Flickr and then link to them here. Works well for me. I would think any of the free tier services would work.

Was told the wheels were painted by a PO when the body was repainted. So, maybe the skirts were added at the same time? |

I don't even know if that is a stock color... Total 924 newbie. Lots of VWs in my past: water and air, but my first watercooled Porsche.
Oh, I am working on this too...

It runs! Still lots of little stuff that needs to happen. Keys for the doors and lock cylinder/keys for the hatch are most important. |

Welcome! Car looks great - glad that locks seem to be your main concern. I have an '82 924NA and the engine compartment seems identical. I ran mine as a daily drive for years - really a fun car. I was surprised that your spider-web wheels have 5 lugs - my spider-webs only have 4. Also, is that a glass sunroof?
Again welcome - you'll find good help and an active community here. |

No, not glass, just the reflection of light. The door locks now work, after a rearrange of the tumblers parts. Rear hatch lock is still not working. As to the 5 lug wheels, no idea...
I can't wait to drive it |

Question:
Is the US spec suspension the same height as the Euro spec? And if not, is it just a different strut/spring used or is there more too it?
Thanks! |

Rear is raised to get to US height by an eccentric bolt in the spring plate assembly. _________________ Toofah King Bad
