I would surmise that running this in a 944 with high quality, synthetic gear oil would do next to nothing, ie, wouldn't break, wouldn't add traction. _________________ Toofah King Bad

I have a freind who has one of these in his Bugeye Sprite. Autocrosses it regularly, it is competitive for fsstest time of day, beating Miatas, BRZs, MR2s and other old British sports cars. I don't know how well it works, but he has run it for many years and nothing has blown up yet. _________________ 88 924S
