Now working on center console, PO had smashed it in several places. Got a good spare, anyway, clock is dead, won't run on the bench, I have voltmeter that fits, wondering (can't find diagram) if there's a good place to wire it in back there, I used the hot for the clock but that's always hot, not sure I need the voltmeter reading 24/7 although it "shouldn't" draw much. Just curious.
I'll probably open up the clock for fun this winter.
Is there a source of switched hot in that neighborhood of the console?

Oil pressure gauge should have switched 12v.

Radio relay is also a convenient place to tap for switched 12V, will show you voltage of battery with "key in" (rather than waiting for "key on") just like OEM configuration.

thanks
Gauge looks good, got the lights working (put some LEDs in there) still some work to do, Oil pressure reads (after new sender installed) heater fan is inop, have some trouble shooting to do there, I'm trying to convince my kid to stop driving it now, snow is flying, it's time to put it away!!
