I've hit a snag. I have guy on another forum making me some fuel lines but he doesn't know what to do about the jumper line. Anyone struggle to renew this before. I guess the 924s was quirky with fuel rail design and this one is weird to him. I would think you'd just carefully cut off the old crimp, apply correct hose and clamps and call it good but what do I know. _________________ 87 924S project, '83 944 engine,

I would get a new, OEM one for that line. It already has gone through a recall with Por$che, so it's not something trivial.
If it breaks, you are not going to be happy with your carbeque. _________________ 1987 924S SPEC car

Call the dealer with your VIN...I think there was an actual recall of that line. _________________ Toofah King Bad

As others have mentioned, get a new one. Here's what the recalled hoses look like. If any of you guys have an '87 924S with a hose that ends with .88 get it replaced now!
I hope that helps! _________________ '84 944 -White, Brown interior

I didn't know new was an option, I will look harder. Why would calling a dealer with a VIN help? The old one is gone (sent off to rebuild guy to use hardware for new, I can probably get the pieces back).
Would a dealer supply a replacement via a VIN?
Thanks for the input. _________________ 87 924S project, '83 944 engine,

The dealer can tell you whether or not it was already replaced under the recall. _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"
