Euro 924's have 9.3:1 CR and can tolerate 1bar boost easily with 16-17 degrees of advance on pump gas (98 here, 93 in US). Car produced ~250hp.
Pieter (Dutchpug) had almost 400 hp in his 924 stock bottom end with E85. _________________ '83 924 2.6 16v Turbo, 470hp
At 6 psi the car will be quite more fast than what it is now. Depending on fuel, your intercooler efficiency and ofcourse your fine tuning maybe you can run more boost.
One day i'll take a NA, strap a turbo on it and see what boost it can take before it lets go.
That is probably what I will do when I get the AAN and am ready to swap it. Slowly turn the boost up until it lets go just for fun. _________________ 1979 924 stocker soon to be autocross beast |

Has anyone ever used a 2000 VW Passat turbo for a donor turbo? Can get my hands on a full turbo car for $400. _________________ 1979 924 stocker soon to be autocross beast |

As said early on, I agree the problems with the clutch handling the power are an issue before the engine can't take the boost.
I ran 232lbft of torque with my previous supercharged 931 engine on a new stock NA clutch and it was slipping in 5th on the motorway on acceleration.
Changing to a 944 drive chain and it handles that torque fine now. (With 911 clutch pressure plate). _________________ UK spec '83 N/A with 931 motor with Eaton MP62 'charger @ 15psi.
