HELLO!

My name is Blake, I'm 17 from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
My daily driver is just a little 99 Hyundai tiburon but in October I purchased a 1987 924s 😍 She needed some fixing up and work but my dad and I worked on it and she runs smooth...
I am quite new to the actual mechanics of cars however my dad has been a mechanic for almost 30 years and has had quite the collection of American muscle, but Porsche is new to him aswell ... We're both learning a lot and I'm so excited I've found a good forum!

Hi all, new to the board, but I have been lurking for quite a few weeks.

I have a '81 924 NA that needs some interior and electrical love, but so far runs well.

Living on the coast of Northern NSW, so keen to hear from other Aussies.

Hello all, I've been stalking the forums since I saw a '78 924 on CL. Well I picked it up thus past weekend. I aspire to fix her up and make her an autocross / weekend driver. I'll be asking a lot of noob questions so please bare with me.

Hello. New here and new to the Porsche world. I remember the 924, 944 and 928's very well growing up in the 70s and 80s. I was at a classic car auction and this little guy caught my eye and before I new it, had followed me home.

oh! very cool! I don't feel any soft spots or holes under the Gulf sticker. With a $2500 car I'm not too worried. It looks great, everyone smiles when they see it. It runs well. They put a new R134 system in it, did some fuel delivery work, new tires and stereo so I'm enjoying it. Just have a bad leak where the LHS cowl drain pipe is rusted out. I hope for sunshine this week to dry it out while I clear a space for it in the garage.

I'm sure I'll regret it later, but I'll go ahead and trade you.

Finally I have a pic of my car(kinda blurry) on here! I wasn't looking for a 924 when I found it. I buy a fixer upper now and then. Some get sold when finished some I keep. I saw it on craigslist for $800. Every time I went on cl for weeks it was there. After I showed it to my wife about 20 times(hey that little Porsche is still on here). One day she said I should buy it for myself. 2 years later I now have some time to work on it. I have taken lots of pics as I work on it so now I will get them on photobucket and post them.
