I recently purchased an '88 924S and thought I'd share some of the original books and documents that came with it. As these cars get older I've found that its harder to find a car with any documentation, much less a car with all the documents still in great condition. The car is getting all the seals and gaskets replaced at the moment, but will mostly stay original as it is now. Later in the week I will share pictures of the car and the work I'm doing to it.

Anyway, I thought you guys might like to see some of the stuff that was in the glove box back when these cars were brand new!

The original Blaupunkt Charleston came with the car, and the antenna key was still in the glove box.

This car was purchased June 22, 1988 and has far more standard equipment than my '87 model. It even has cruise control, which is a rather rare option for the 924S.

Super cool! My car has a lot of documentation too. I did not seek it, but was happy to get it.

I think I actually got most of those as well with mine that I bought in January. What's your car like?

Here's some pictures of the car. Its bone stock and was always professionally maintained; so no hacks or spliced wiring. Everything works as it should and overall its a tidy car that has been driven but well taken care of. There are some stone chips on the nose panel and dash has the usual cracks, but that's about it. I just replaced all the seals and gaskets so this thing is solid, not to mention the A/C is freezing cold. I just plan to drive it and keep it as it is.

Thanks!

Thanks for the pics. There are never enough pictures of good condition 924s.

I was looking at a red '88 for sale in South Carolina at the same time as the one I got. (I need to get some good pics and post them.) I was wondering if it was the same one, but I see it's not. Someone got a great car, but I wasn't willing to spend the money the seller wanted.

I don't think I saw that car, but I got this one in Mooresville.

I agree, I also love pictures of nice 924s. Here's some pics of my other 924S. Unfortunately, this one was in bad shape and didn't come any documents, so I stuffed a 944 turbo engine into it.
