Does anyone know if a 944 coolant expansion tank will fit in the 931. I have one on hand and doesn't appear that it will fit due to the headlight motor.

Are you sure it's mounted far enough back?
It should be mounted under the quarter panel next to the strut tower.
I've not heard of any issues with the headlight motor, just the ignition amplifier on the box. _________________ Stefan

Mounting is a piece of cake. Requires some minor modifications to the hoses going to/from the tank.
In the Club Sport with original flip-up headlights and ignition module (no clearance issues):
In the Club Sport after fixed headlight conversion, also showing the liquid-to-air charge cooler water pump mounted to the headlight motor bracket:
Pix of my install on the 941. In this case, I retained the original expansion tank bracket, bent it a little to clear the 944 tank, and reinstalled the 931 expansion tank as a reservoir for the water-meth injection kit.
