A few months ago my speedo cable was making a lot of noise so I changed it out for a new one. I noticed though that my new cable was jumpy from 0 to 35mph, but it did smooth out once it hit 40mph. Today I decided to take a second look at my installation. I pulled off my left front wheel and simply repositioned it slightly and took it for a drive. No more bouncing needle. The speedo worked smooth like butter. So if you have a jumpy speedometer maybe just try to reposition it and that might get the kink out of the cable. _________________ MOD
