You can build anything with enough cash. Mittelmotor in Germany can build a GTS spec car to FIA papers for historic racing. I wouldn't expect too much change from €100k. Pretty good value as a real GTS will cost north of €200k but then you may not want to race it. _________________ 1980 931 - forged pistons, Piper cam, K27/26 3257 6.10 hybrid turbo, 951 FMIC, custom intake, Mittelmotor dizzy & cam pulley, H&S exhaust, GAZ Gold, Fuch'ed, Quaife

Costs for this conversion? (not gtr but similar)
Suppose I start form 924 turbo 177hp, for engine I have to install intercooler and change turbo pressure , but for suspension, it's necessary to change suspension geometry or it's enough to install big wheels?
For body I don't like standard gt kit, there are not other body parts for rear enlargement? _________________ Porsche 924 2.0 na 125hp (1979) euro

15 Coolest Porsches From Rennsport Reunion V.
#5.
Some purists might not recognize a car that has its engine in the front as a real Porsche, but the rare 924 GTS deserves respect regardless. A turbocharged, 2.0-liter I-4 made up to 275 hp in Clubsport spec. That combined with a curb weight of about 2,470 pounds helped the GTS accelerate to 62 mph in just more than 5 seconds. This particular example is the first GTS built and the only one painted white. It spent its entire* life testing at Porsche's Weissach R & D center.

Wasn't there 2 or 3 pre production GTS in White? Rorhl had one and crashed/wrote it off? _________________ 1980 931 - forged pistons, Piper cam, K27/26 3257 6.10 hybrid turbo, 951 FMIC, custom intake, Mittelmotor dizzy & cam pulley, H&S exhaust, GAZ Gold, Fuch'ed, Quaife

It is cheaper to buy already built car and just buy body kit from AIR or GT racing. _________________ '83 924 2.6 16v Turbo, 470hp

#272 GTR. With the weakening Euro and strengthening USD, this one is almost attainable...

I would have snagged all the pix but they have the stupid watermarks on them. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |
