Had a screamer pipe off the wastegate for one day. Sounded awful like the exhaust had fallen off on boost _________________ 1980 931 - forged pistons, Piper cam, K27/26 3257 6.10 hybrid turbo, 951 FMIC, custom intake, Mittelmotor dizzy & cam pulley, H&S exhaust, GAZ Gold, Fuch'ed, Quaife

I'm pretty sure I'll get over it, but its one of those things I need to get out of my system. haha
Does anyone know of any compatible fuel injector seals? I've gone through the first two pages of the google search page, will continue now, but maybe someone has the answer? _________________ 1990 Suzuki J410 sold

turns out 924 turbo injector bungs are quiet hard to come by! The place I sent the head to used a slide hammer to get them out, probably the wrong tool to use on threaded part, sigh. I see you get O-rings for the injectors, but I don't remember seeing them on mine, so I'm assuming the turbo didn't use that o-ring, just the bung itself.
I'm relatively sure I can get the na style injector bung, could I not modify that to make mine fit? If not, would I be able to use the outer dimensions, and placement of the thread as an indication of how to get a set machined? What material should they be made from? _________________ 1990 Suzuki J410 sold

Make them out of POM, dont modify to NA style, it probably wont work that well. Make the shop that destroyed the old ones make new ones, its their fault for being stupid, and its their fault for not calling you before damaging them.
I think they also destroyed the threads in the head...so check for that first. _________________ https://www.the924.com |

Thanks kcoyle, I contacted min. The two reasons I don't want to go EFI just yet is because I spent a decent amount of time tuning my k jet system to functioning how I wanted it to, so I know it was working well before and secondly with the cost of the rebuild so far, it just not something I can consider just yet.
I phoned the placeworking on the head and the say it doesn't seam like there was ether threads in the head, and if I remember correctly the injector bungs didn't have a thread pattern but more a push fitting type pattern. I hvane t been able to find any pictures of a similar injector was what was in my car. Here's a pic of mine: [img][/img]
Are these correct? As mime never had an o ring anywhere just press fitted into the bung which was press fitted into the head _________________ 1990 Suzuki J410 sold

Sorry terrible spelling and grammer in that last message. Morghen you may argue that the threads aren't there as they ruined them but the pattern on the bung or what was maybe left didn't flow as a thread would have. _________________ 1990 Suzuki J410 sold

Wow, never seen that before.
Maybe someone modified the head before you owned the car. _________________ https://www.the924.com |

The reason my injector bungs looked so funny was because the guy used a slide hammer to remove the injectors so they destroyed the plastic coating that was around them.
5 months later and the cars on the road! Set back after setback but its running! great to be drive again! So far so good!
Just a quick question, I have been searching quiet a bit but I feel this question is slightly different than whats been asked before. My Park light on the dash and console is permanently on. So I know that means the switch under the handbreak is likely faulty. The console light isn't the warning light, its the top light out of the two. So its not the one for low fluid level ect, I think! I've read that low oil pressure could turn that light on but then the oil light would generally be on, which mine isn't. So heres the twist I'm adding to why mine is different. My oil pressure is good on the gauge, but it doesn't flicker between 2 and 6 bar as it used to, its far more constant, drops slightly say from 6 down to 4 as the car warms up but doesn't flicker as it used to, could anyone maybe relate this to my brake light being possibly?
Oh yes, then the reason my engine went, even though it was a new belt ,has been narrowed down to two possible causes, 1) a loss in cambelt tension, 2 the oil distributor plastic elbow in the head that distributes oil over the cam lobes was broken causing my lifters to seize.
Thanks! _________________ 1990 Suzuki J410 sold
