Fun in the warm 82 degree sun of Arizona Motorsports Park in NW Phoenix. Keith brought the 924S Chumpcar, and we mixed it up with the shiny PCA cars. Plenty of track time, five 20 minutes sessions for each run group. Last session combined all groups.
The '88 car did great, a niggling oil leak though out of the lower balance shaft. Not an easy fix.
Keith's car.
Keith on turn one. Nice mountain views.
Hot dogs for lunch.
PCA row, out of the sun of course~!
Couple of 944 Spec cars attended.
A little higher end car.
The boys going over the telemetry and bragging rights~!

Well, it was DE2, just the next step up from noob level. I chose it for my new car on this track and I probably should have went up one to DE3. So, the shiny cars do well on straights, but are pretty cautious on corners. And, it's a PCA event, not many are going to push their cars they drove to the track. _________________ '83 944 Track car.

Is your left front tire installed backwards? I am looking on the tread pattern and that is what it looks like to me _________________ www.btr-chicago.com

Yup, the R888s were initially installed on my CGT project with bad camber on a couple wheels, while I was trouble-shooting the car. So, after some wear, I reversed the those tires on the current car. After this last weekend, the tires have a couple more track days of life in them. Sticky fun~! Live and learn, and spend money. _________________ '83 944 Track car.
