Well...my 931 won't start...what I mean is it does start but after a week (or sooooo) it won't restart..it runs great when it finally does turn but for some reson it just won't get fuel pressure...and we know that is the heart of the issue..

What we have replaced already....the in tank fuel pump...at least 10 relays at $25 each...the ingition key (electronic end)...the fuel and the fuel filter

The question is could it be the fuel pressure accumulator PN 931 110 140 00 and can I get one??

after "week" of sitting, before you try to start it

jump the fuel pump relay 30 to 87, pumps should run...

push open the air metering plate in the fuel distributors air housing while pumps are jumped...

do pumps run? they should

do the injectors squeal out fuel right away when you move the plate? they should

maybe some air in the lines gets pumped out of the injectors before the fuel gets there? (if so check that fuel line check valve that keeps it from draining back) (my suspicion)

if not that we need more information like...

effect of starting fluid? did you try that? then you can rule in/out ignition being the culprit probably..

Yes the pump does work everytime when you go around the relay (30 to 87)...I'm starting to think it is the signal from the distributor...the one that signals the engine is turning and energized

Could be a sticky pressure switch in the intake or the safety switch in the fuel distributor. Worth bypassing those (ground one of their pins) and see if that makes any difference.

Manually manipulating the air plate is another check I might try in case it is sticking slightly.

Cleaning the connector at the ignition box isn't a bad idea either.

How's the wiring at the back of the car? Just wondering if there isn't a bit too much resistance there to jump start the pump after it has been sitting for a week?

Just throwing out ideas that I might try. Of course testing them is difficult since the issue doesn't show up after it sits for a week.
