i like it, with a clean bonnet, no silly sills it would look nice.
Add a CGT bumper and it looks great.

Check out the Engine swap area of the forum near the bottom of the page for other swaps that are either in progress or completed.

Including Audi 5-cylinders, Chevy V6s and V8s, Buick/Rover V8s, a VW VR6 and an 1.8T and a 944 turbo into a 924S among others.

There's also a great site/forum for engine swap kits and DIY parts:

http://www.texasperformanceconcepts.com/

They also have some interesting DIY solutions for improving the chassis performance, like Lexus LS430 brake calipers with Boxster S rotors, bump steer kits, manual brake conversions, chassis bracing, etc.

Luckily many of the 944 suspension and drivetrain parts can be retrofitted to the 924 chassis (some easier than others).

It seems like nobody has ever finished a VR6 swap or working on it anymore. A few forum threads has been started but since then died...

Waiting for updates on that one, the builder hasn't posted a word since March 2013. From his website, it appears that he is more interested in Toyotas.......
