Busy day at the NZ Ferrari Festival at Hampton downs today - I went down to watch Robyn's newly painted 924 compete in the classic trials for the first time since fitting the carrera GT kit. She did well for the first couple of laps, and then didn't come around again and it wasn't long before the red flags were out! I headed back towards the pits and spotted her a few corners back in the tyre wall .

It doesn't look like much in the photos, but it was a big hit (and actually moved the tyre wall) and really shook her up. She was fine, but the car wasn't so good! there's major panel damage on every panel on the right hand side, which was heart breaking as it was a concourse paint job at the start of the day.
We spent a few hours checking suspension, steering and panel beating to get tyre clearance etc, and managed to get her back out for the last race. A couple of laps into the race and she got straight back on to her usual pace - she's quite a gutsy lady!

On a different note I've never seen so many Ferraris in one place:

I believe they set a New Zealand record.....would have been better if it was 147 Porsches though!
