Here's a pic of the fuel distribution housing,it's on a 78 924 i'm currently restoring,if you can see the 2 extra relay connectors on the housing ,i would be grateful if any of you can explain their function, it's the first time i've come across this on a 924,i'm wondering if it's to aid in cold/hot starting,if thats the case and it worked,why then didn't they continue using it ? ,but perhaps there's another reason that i haven't considred.

| I can't quite tell from the shadows in the images but it appears to be the supplementary start valve. The 924Board thread "What is this doohickey?" might be helpful. See the post at the end of the thread by Harm. The connector at the back of the sensor is the air sensor switch plug. |

Thanks very much larchie,thats a great help,had me confused but on inspecting the wires it makes sense now. |
