Hi all,

we have a 924S with a 2.5 NA lemons racer.

here is our setup:

stock front sway bar, koni adj and stiff spring coil overs.

rear konis all the stiff- needs more shock as our experienced driver says.

I have a stock rear swaybar setup off a 944 NA that I could put on. will that help or hurt? No LSD

I have been told by non 924/944 racers no dont add it since it will unload the wheel on turning exit [which is a problem now]

Thanks,
pete

It's pretty easy to unhook it, so you could put it on and be able to try it both ways.

I figured that I would post results finally.

Saturday nice weather then rain and we added it after racing Saturday night, since the wet would make it even more likely to over steer.

Sunday nice all day and the car felt better everywhere! up hill down hill, stopping, inside out side, just everywhere we were all more confident.

Now the kicker is that we were 0.2 seconds slower the second day with the sway bar on. But since we all felt it as a confidence builder and a better drive we are going to leave it on.

Pete

Loudon is an oval of some sort? YES you need the rear bar, but you can weight bias the car by raising the ride height on the problem wheel. Easy!

Are you running just the oval or the road course too?

I'm not racing a 924 yet, but I do race 24HoL.
The loudon track is run as a roval, 1/2 on the oval and 1/2 outside the oval on a road cource.
There will be another 24HoL race at Loudon 26-27 October.
