Sure we can Stu, I have your aluminium stock.

Was about to contact you the other day and see if I could catch up with you, and your car, on the way back from Harvey Bay for the W/E. That was before the rain started Sunday. Becoming a very long weekend now as I`m stuck here by the floods with the Bruce Hwy still under at Gympie.

Hope you're not still stuck?
Working today but I'll be home tommorow (sun) if you're heading through?
Cheers
Stu

Hi Stu,

The rear spoiler has finally made it on, just needed a bit of final shaping, glued it down with urethane then a bit of filling & sanding then paint. Very happy with final product.

Cheers,
Santo

Thanks Stu,

It needed a little sanding on the contour line, mainly on the 90deg bends as it was sitting high.

No I didn't fill it, I injected it with plenty of urethane spaced about 100mm apart, and a fat bead along the bottom edge. Let it sit taped up tight for a about week and its stuck down forever.

I am careful when opening the rear hatch as to not put too much force into the spoiler, the struts are stuffed so that doesn't help!

I just need to run some 'dripcheck' on the contour line and its all done.

I finished it off with some satin black and it looks really good, very happy with how its turned out.

Cheers,
Santo

Sorry to drag up an old thread. I have managed to get hold of a cgt kit and it looks like one of these. Just after some info on fitting the front bumper? Anyone got any pictures of the process?

no pics handy, but it's pretty straight forward, use some spring loaded clamps and wood chocks for support whilst your lining things up...
there should be three dimples in the top outer edges where you drill and bolt to the quarter panels M10 with washers, the lower outside lip will need some sort of L shaped bracket attached to the radiator support frame. Get both sides drilled and the spoiler should sit pretty centrally by itself...
The centre upper lip will get approx three spaced bolts under the nose cone, again M10's
and your choice if you want to add air dams around the radiator intake area but these could also be tied into the radiator support frame
