Working on off season prep, and noted my radiator is taking a real beating.
Any suggestions/pics on screening the inlet to protect it better? _________________ Toofah King Bad

Parkrose has some mesh in different sizes, etc.
I would put some on the opening under the nose in a bullnose shape with the sides open. This way air can still get in on the sides if something blocks/damages the forward facing section.
sort of like this:
See if you can screw the top part into the opening under the bumper and use a couple of long bolts on the bottom section to allow it to move in case it is bumped or hit instead of ramming the air dam into the radiator. _________________ Stefan

I use what we call around here "ratwire". Its mesh with about 1/3" square holes in it. I think people actually used it for gardening but it is pretty stiff, lets the air through and holds its shape pretty well. Takes rocks and klag no problem. Any Home Deopt or Lowes will have it for a couple bucks. |
