Well today I went and paid for a new car (to me). A 1981 931 in Guards Red. Local car to Vancouver,bought it from the second owner that has had it since 1987 or close to there. Car is in really good shape compared to some I have looked at over this past year. Funnily enough all the rain we get here is actually good for these cars. It washes the acid from the battery tray and keeps the dash from self destructing .Even has black sports seats and a dash that only has 1 little 1/2" crack ! I don't get to pick it up until Monday so I will post pics then. This car is going to be done up just enough to be a sound daily driver while I build a race motor. The main goal is to race it locally and maybe in northern WA. state with Khalon.WooHoo !
