Nice~! Was that white/blue car behind you an '88 924S 944Spec car? That was for sale for awhile, and was thinking of buying it. We're not far from that track, if I could sort out my turbo car, I'd like to check it out. _________________ '83 944 Track car.

looks good, what's under the hood?
and I bet at least 1 inch wheel spacers would fit under that wide body _________________ Porsche 931 1980 widebody CS / no, stock again

Thanks gents!
@grenadiers - That's the one, it was my borthers. He sold it a few weeks ago.
@serzas - The rears are just about 4mm from the flares, its shadowed in these shots. Hoosiers seem to flex a little and rub the paint ever so slightly. Under the hood is the 2.0L motor:

You guys do excellent work! I really enjoyed reading your brother's write up on 944spec.org, was very inspiring. Inspiring enough that I realized that buying his car, or one like, ie, already done, is the way to go for me! _________________ '83 944 Track car.

Great pics. makes me jealous as I look out and see all the snow on the ground in front of my house and the hibernating until the spring.
Car looks great. _________________ Cheers;

Thanks Morghen!
Its a bit strange, with 1" of spacing in the rear, and the Hoosiers at 225/50 on these wheels, they just barely flex and rub a little paint off. In these shots, I am spaced at 3/4" and there is lots of room.
The rubbing occures near hub level on the back, and there is lots of room at the top. Perhaps a function of the flares installed too farward on the car. They would not coorporate any other way during install. A little Dremel work on the rear flange would quickly remedy in any case.
Running 225/50 in the rear and 225/45 in the front in these sessions...(burning up spares, going to try 225/50 in a Hankook Ventus R-S3 all around this spring) _________________ '79 924 Supercharged / Track Prepared
