I agree they look badass! Mine are staggered 8's and 7's. I have only tested the rears so I hope that the fronts fit correctly. What size tire are you going to run on your sets?

I don't think you'll have a problem...pretty sure the offset is the same as the 6", so only 1/2" more space required on the front and back side respectively. Might want to roll your fenders and stiffen your suspension just in case though!

Haven't settled on tire selection yet...to many other priorities to address in the short term...suspension tweaks, alignment, ride height, re-wiring the bumper lights, running wiring for the GPS speedo, boost gauge, O2 gauge, and oil temp sensor, plumbing the boost gauge, etc.

Very nice. Gotta be ludicrous with those 900# springs on the back, though!!

Looks like my scales are gonna get a workout in the next month... Mo's gotta borrow 'em first to scale his F500, get it moving back to square... and the Bilsteins for Merritt's racecar are being redone right now, so it'll need a re-work of the setup... plus your car, then the DSR...

Yeah, the jaunt around the neighborhood was pretty hilarious!

Unfortunately, though, I think I need to redo the torsion bars. Drat. I have those 6" springs set with no preload, and the car is still too high in the rear, so no choice but to drop the carrier and redo it.

Just using those to test the length. I have 400# up front, and will be running 225# + stock t-bars in the back.

ideola, that looks great

Obviously, I'm a huge fan of the side-marker delete and shorty bumpers.

Really, nice work.

Officially legal

Also completed one of my favorite mods...the extra tail light!

Instrumentation

Speedhut "Legacy" GPS speedometer. I was quite pleased with how easy it was to replace its flat plastic lense with our beveled lens...even the reset button works through the stock hole!

it is great to see progress on this. let me know how the suspension shakes out. the effective rate on 225# springs and stock t-bars should be about the same as my 450# springs correct?

Yeah, that's about right, set up to match the 600# springs up front.
