In addition to weight, could you please make available wind tunnel testing results? _________________ Toofah King Bad

you'd have to test this with the lights on and off because the light could provide an exerting force on the emitter (not sure if relativity theory still holds) hence it could create resistance. You can't measure that in a wind tunnel though... but the engine has to provide the electricity and when the light is emitted it again consumes horsepower.
Deflecting it to the skies could add some downforce on the front.
what?
I still have some hella lights btw, but I think they're too big. They do have a nice frame in which the glass is suspended, so it is fancily adjustable. _________________ "Rule: Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun." (C. Bell)

I’m afraid that this is way out of my knowledge and skill level.
But I would be more than happy to put you both first on the list (when I’m ready for production) in exchange of this crucial information. _________________ 1976 924 N/A ROW SOLD

That will probably be negated because of the behaviour of the photons hitting the rotating fan assembly as the photon beams would create a non linear pressure difference in front of the car, heating the gas and therefore making it less dense...so less downforce on the fronts.
i guess you'll just have to find a different way to check if they are safe to fit on the 924

you need to address these quality issues, probably on the mold....
your part is too small...you need to make it bigger.
check out how the deutschnine products look.

Just to add to what Morghen has said, I think the most important thing to get right on these lights is the size and shape of the plexiglass covers.
To get the kit looking 'OEM' it's vitally important to maintain a consistent panel gap that falls in line with the bonnet/hood and also to achieve the black outline beneath the plexiglass.
I think this is why Deutsch Nine's kit looks so good on that blue car. _________________ 1979 UK 932 |

wow, it already looks much better ! at this point i'd almost make an order
now...one more thing:
take a look at the curvature of the metal part in the marked area.
i see that the cover has a curvature, and from this picture i cant see very well...but it looks like you could make it a bit more curved.
Also...you might try to bring the outer edge of the cover a tad closer to the marked edge of the metal part.

Here's your marker http://images.pistonheads.com/nimg/24855/GTSLarge.jpg too big to post
Derek Bells recently refurbished at Porsche Stuttgart GTS. New headlight covers and HIDS

I'd be interested in the covers, buckets and fitting kit. The headlamp units will need to be sourced in the UK due to us driving on the left unless they are not handed. _________________ 1980 931 - forged pistons, Piper cam, K27/26 3257 6.10 hybrid turbo, 951 FMIC, custom intake, Mittelmotor dizzy & cam pulley, H&S exhaust, GAZ Gold, Fuch'ed, Quaife
