oils coming up through the centre of the nut closest to the block??
I'm guessing the o rings are the issue?
also if replacing the seals in situ am I right in thinking you don't need to drain the oil?

That's the top seal, the green one pictured earlier in the thread, and it's still available. It's the bottom one, the larger one on the drain line, that is NLA. That top one is going to be an absolute bear to replace in situ.

Looks pretty good. Photo from the side would be interesting to see seal above machined surface...

Hate to revive a nine year old thread. But as I've recently bought a second K26 for rebuilding, and knowing this part is probably still NLA, I'd love to know what conclusions were drawn from this, if any?
