I just bought a 1980 931 and I'm ordering the rear gt wide quarters. I have a 944 tubo front bumper and fenders.

I was looking at some pictures online and this question crossed my mind.. Are there difderent body styles for the 924? I keep seeing ones that have what appears to be a body line sligly above the door handle and below the fuel door and others that dont appear to have this body line.

Not sure what you talking about, but the doors from all 924 '80-onwards and 944 (except 944 cabrio) have the same shape. There where some differences in locks and inner reinforcement, but they are virtually interchangeable.
By the way... Be advised that badge panels on 924 and 951 really have the different shape.

Ok. I got a chance to head over to the "graveyard" tonight and look at the car. The body line is there. (time for taxes to get here so i can go ahead and order the gt quarterpanels and get a new exhaust manifold built)

As for the badge.. I'm not sure what you are refering too. My friend has a 944 with 951 bumper, stock fenders, 931 nose, 931 hood... That's pretty much what I'm going to have on the front of a 924.

931 nose with grills has a more strait front edge so it will not line up with 951 bumper.
Take a look at this:

I'm heading back over to the graveyard later to get some pics and list of all the parts that are coming with the car.. I'll snap a picture of his car when I get there. (just note that it was hit a few days ago so still has a headlight out and no hood)
