Yes, getting PHP table full errors...sounds like a problem with the backend database... _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

The problem is caused by the search-engine robots opening hundreds of sessions when they index the site. Google and msn are the worst. I have put in some changes to try and control it but sometimes it can't cope.
If you get a "table full" error just wait a minute or two and try again. _________________ 1979 924 (Gone to a better place)

Yep, I know that screen.
What I do to avoid this is take a direkt link to a thread inside a subject (that I find in
my browsers history) and continue reading from there by klicking ‘View next topic’.
Or, when the threads in that catagorie are done, one could choose ‘About The Board’^
to see that index and go up from there to the main index called ^‘924Board.org Forum Index’
to switch to another catagorie.
…I simpley try to avoid comming in through the front door index.
Thats when the white error screen mostley comes up, lately.

@Peter: Thanks for keeping it, this forum, bare bones.
Works a charm!
VWvortex forum tried to reinvent themselves last spring with an overload on flavoured
hipster sub-subinfo in each message. Pleased members not be! Then they started to delete
the useless trimming and now its back to being pretty basic, again.
Nice investment, hehehe… their Search still sucks though…

See guys, it's not just our search that sucks.
I only use the inbuilt search to look for posts by a particular member. For everything else there's Google which is one of the causes of this problem.
