Looks very nice Dan!!! I'm guessing the scraper needs clearancing depening on rod choice, bolt choice, etc. Almost seems a shame to have to cover it up, it's so purdy!!!

This scraper was made specifically for my stroker setup with the Crower rods. But regardless, the scraper is close, but not "precision" close. I had to grind material off of the scraper where each of the rod ends are at maximum horizontal distance from the crank centerline. I also had to clearance one of the holes in the wire mesh for the bolt to fit through. And, I ran out of time to work on fitting the oil pan. There is something on the front end of the assembly that is preventing the pan from seating properly. I think it's some of the heat sink fins on the inside of the pan, but that should be easy to address.

Yeah that shouldn't be to tough to handle. Good luck! I can't wait until you get this engine broken in so that we can hear how much power it's putting down.

Are you going to add an intercooler? I'd like to see a 2.0 stroker really get pushed...

My goal with the club sport project is to put together a 931 that is "close" to Euro specifications. The only reason I went with the stroker is because I had an extra complete setup on the shelf, so it was cheaper for me to build it than to start from scratch with a stock motor. I expect the car should put out somewhere around 180 BHP, give or take. Since the CR is a bit lower than Euro spec, I expect the stroker to be a rough tradeoff to achieve near-Euro spec power levels.

I have toyed around with the idea of upping the boost and adding an intercooler, but if I do, it will be done at a later date and not part of the initial build. I am still hoping to get this car completely built, broken in, and possibly some basic tuning before I have to put it away for the winter. If I can do that, then my focus over the winter will shift to body work on this car, and building a new motor for the 941, which has a problem on the #2 intake valve that requires the motor to come out. If I can get both of those things done over the winter, then I'll be able to bring the UWB project back to the front burner next spring. The UWB will have an identical long block setup to the CS (stroker, big valve head, Integral Stage 1), but will be the all-out build, with custom turbo, intercooler, boost control, EFI, etc.

FWIW, mine (scraper only, no windage) had to be ground in a few places as well.

Wow! Luverly bit of bling there. Will be a shame to get it oiled up and dirty.
