You might have noticed that 924Board has been MIA for a couple of days.

Well, it wasn't because Australia had an election and hung their parliament (more's the pity).

Problem was that the DNS registrar that the 924board.org name is registered with (Pacnames) had some sort of problem that meant that when the 924board.org name came up for renewal I couldn't renew it and attempts to access the site ended up at some bogus address. Things weren't helped by either Pacnames not sending me a warning of expiry or their warning getting nailed by the spam filters.

Unfortunately there was nothing that could be done until Pacnames got things sorted out. If it was something simple like an exploding web server then we would have just reloaded the nightly backup and been back on the air in a couple of hours.

Anyway, back to our regular transmission.
