For those who prefer Polo's these are not yet available, at Zazzle; I have altered the design to work for zazle embrodery (but haven't got the money back yet of the produced ofm misfits and I'm not confident with that: maybe I should give them a call (Redwood, near SF) to speed things up… e-mail traffic at zazzle is kinda slooow…)

Update
After two months of emailing up and down Zazzle agreed just before Christmas I should get the money used for converting to embroidery stitch file returned, because I was unable to alter the colours in the stitching file, and unable to bring the designs into the store front for sale. Therefore the conversions I paid for were useless. Yesterday I rescieved their payment on paypal, thankfully.

In the meantime I contacted a local freind who could do the embroidery conversions for me, so I could see what I would get, instantly. Sadly his stitchfiles are not compatable with the zazzle site version, yet! He will update his software and look into it next week. Problem solved for a bottle of wine

Regards, Harm.

Local embroidered conversions I made did not work when uploaded to Zazzle. I will look into new software in spring that I know is coming up.
Meanwhile I paid Zazzle to do one translation to embroidery that could have several colour options. They came up with a embroidery that lost some details in the left-bottom corner, the toofah, but they state the following: “…it will necessarily have limited fine details. This is often difficult to represent within a sewing animation…”. So the final machined stitching should be fine altough it might appear crooked on screen.

Someone already ordered an embroidered shirt from the store so I presume we'll get to know if it looks fine within a week; I'll leave that judgement to the buyer. If the product is not to his satisfaction at least he can count on Zazzle's excellent costumer service that as been reported earlier in this thread.
…wich brings me to the poor digital quality printed T-shirt that the Zazzle store did send out to Khal. There is an alternative that is close to screenprinting quality. More on that subject later.

Regards, Harm.

Thanks Duncan!
I hope its fine and you'll recieve your parcel before the
‘Valetine’s Day Shipping Promotion’ ends, so others are able to profit.

Since Khal's adventure with Zazzle there has been one more printed Toofah shirt sold from that store. It went to Canada, don't know who, and have no idea of the quality, and I'm not gonna wait for that: It was ordered over a month ago, so should be fine I guess.
I tried to order from the store myself this year and was surprised by the shipping amount that came up. There seems to be some kind of flaw, that some products descent from different suppliers who will charge you individual shipping costs instead of an all-in-one package shipment through Zazzle. So buyer beware: totally absurd shipping costs for international shipping may occur! More on that subject at the Zazzle Forum; Please do a search with ‘Ship’ or ‘Shipping’ and do some reading if you'd like to order several items from the store without surprises.
Ofcourse I cancelled my order and did a count to three: Three strikes out that is;
— A long during proces of getting the right embroidery (almost there: fingers crossed!)
— Poor digital printing quality on dark apparel.
— Absurd shipping costs for International shipping.

So on to the alternative, that is close to screenprinting quality.
Its called Flex and Flock printing, although its not using ink; Flex and Flock have a printing technique where the design is cut/plotted from a coloured foil and then pressed onto the shirt under high heat. Its capable of having strong/brilliant colours that don't fade, and its very durable, even on dark surfaces.
Printing Technique:
Flex Print
    — a slightly shiny surface and smooth to the touch
    — extremely durable
    — max 3 different colours per design

Flock Print
    — a velvety feel, like a thin layer of plush
    — extremely durable
    — max 3 different colours per design

Not sure what I'm blabbering about? She will explain it to you…
America: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lu-3NiZGl8w
Germany: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEAJl7gEY_g

Yep, this Company has two locations to produce and send the design out to costumers. One in the US and one in Germany and shipping costs are more acceptable. Then there is the Shop-Product commission setting that starts at zero. I haven't touched it so I don't have to deal with returning Royalty, voila; Prices are low, yahoo!
Bliss, no issues at all?
Hmmm… putting a shirt in the free store front lets it stick to the apparel of choice, so I have to do several to vary, that uses up a lot of patience, and I don't have much of that ATM. And to make sure everyone gets its order from the right continent, I have to put TWO stores up. EU & US; make sure you order at the right continent. So thats double patience on a slow & laborious site: Yeah, I'm not bored at all, damn. I wouldn't be doing this if it was summer

But hey, more upsides! Ordering from Spreadshirt saves you several pesos compared to Zazzle, and since a lot of us have one or more money pits in the garage or around the house, savings are very convenient in my opinion.

Links to the different Spreadshirt stores:
http://toofah.spreadshirt.co.uk/ is the English store to get your order from Germany,
http://toofah.spreadshirt.com/ is the one for the American continent (and AU and NZ, so I'm told by Spreadshirt).

I'll be busy at the EU store now.
Regards, Harm.

There is a small delay in my review of the embroidered hoody, because my hoody got lost during shipping

Fortunately, Zazzle has offered to replace it ASAP and send it by courier .

So I will be able to review it in less than a week I hope.

Cheers,

Duncan

Compare that to this…
Snapshot by Duncan:

Duncan also ordered a sweater through Spreadshirt.
Recieved no pics though, but he was satisfied I believe.

Those Spreadshirt items look real nice. I think I might pick up one of the retro Red and White T-shirts to go with my Martini

BTW, Westmalle beer is one of my favorites!!

Mine too! It is really common here, you can buy it in any supermarket.
About $1.25 a bottle

Haha, Unfortunately in the Boston area I've seen it go for upwards of 25 bucks a bottle (the bigger litre-ish sized one)

I was in the US a couple of years ago and I was really impressed by the micro-brewery beer. I remember a beer called coal porter (with a ship on the label) and some local Maine beers. I would say these can meet or even beat Belgian beers easily. Belgian beer is overrated, like French wine. It's good, but the price/quality is generally not very good.
