Here's a good site with a lot of info for an Audi i5 20v Swap. The car is a 944 but it has a lot of details! |

I do know this has been talked abaut a thousand times. But here it is anyway.
I am in the progress of restoring and modding my 931 into a track/street config.
The plan is to make a 300hp sleeper.
if i choose to keep my 250hp öttinger engine and tune it further i would end up with something very complicatet and costly, and most likely not so dependeble.
My other option at to make a 20v turbo swap.
This engine would with ease make 300+ hp plus it would have the potential for later upgrades.
Now i know i am a bit of a wuss, but i have still not found any info on a swap like this! And i like to play it safe!
Please help gather info! _________________ 931 Current status: bits and pieces |

Its cool when you find a link to your own site! Nina's 20vt is my project.
The white 944 belongs to bullmoose. I have talked to him at length finding out the approach he took to things. Some things I have done different, some are the same, and sometimes I have been able to learn from his mistakes and avoid the same pitfall.
Anyway the work continues, I just got the engine mounts back from the powder coaters. I'll drop the motor back in now and fab an exhaust manifold for the Holset turbo.
Feel free to ask any questions. If you post comments on the site it emails me a notification. _________________ currently: 1987 944 NA 5spd, 250 lb hyper coils, 27 mm t bars, koni yellows, 968 m030 bars,,RE ball joints, full delrin
