afb camero get #1100 springs in the front coil overs in the back bigger sway bays lower the ass of the car to euro specks new torsion bars and polyeurithane bushings all round, and as to the mods I have done to my car I have
P&P head
Headers w/ straight pipes to a 40 series flowmaster muffler
mild cam
Bored (I think it has been stroked by PO but not 100% sure)
225/60R14
I still haven't run a compression check but I believe that it isn't stock compression retio's as i know a couple of other people with stock 924's, and I wail on them my guess is that I would be running at around 160hp but that was my guess.
the engine was proffessionally rebuilt right before i got it and one of the PO looks to have set it for oval use looking at the adjustments to the suspension
a bit of a negitive chamber on back tires
it has had certain items taken off to have it lighter, but I haven't taken it onto a scale to see what it weights.
I have a fast responce time and I only weight about 140lb (can't gain any more weight) so considering most guys weight 16-180 i am dropping around 40 lb lets say there.

Liz - are you running the 1100# springs? What size springs and bars are you running in back to balance it? I hope you've beefed up the strut towers to take those kinds of impact loads - I've seen them bent. Bent my own with 400# springs. I also hope you're not running stock strut mounts, that will give you more spring than the springs!
I'm running 400# springs up front, 30mm torsion bars in the rear, no coilovers in the rear - find that plenty to start with on track.
Of course, if you really want to get radical, you can get the a-arm conversion for the front from Kelly-Moss Racing.

racer924, that is exactly right. At the limit the camaro feels very nervous. but if you look at the speedometer you know why. Now dont compare a mustang 80's and 90s to a camaro. No offense to anyone that owns them but (they are great cars) but they are ceral boxes on wheels. an escort with a v8
Thats what i meant. The porsche after it reaches its limit will neutrally slide, at that point it would be exellent to give it some gas to get out of the corners, and maintain that neutrality WITHOUT LOSING IT. I believe at the level that my camaro is currently at, if i were to do the same to the porsche it would be bye bye camaro.
now in the straightaways its camaro time. Hey thanks for the advice on the suspension. I want to go as radical, shock, coils, sway bars, as i can without compromising structural integrity. or breaking my pigy bank which is in strain right now
