Someone keeps deleting the link to 924.org.

http://www.944-spec.org/944SPEC/

These guys or someone related is changing it to point to them.

Any thoughts on what to do.

here is the add links for the wiki.

I made these changes. Deleting the 944spec people wont help as they will come back. They are linked in the motorsport section, which isn't good enough for them. nov 25 2009

Your first link is wrong - you need a space before "PCA" otherwise it's seen as part of the URL and clicking on it fails...

Amended 924S section. Some of the data is incorrect.

Not a real flattering description of the standard 924.
Also... I do not believe it is 52 rear 48 front... but the opposite.

When did sales of the 924 stop in the US? According to the wiki it was 1982?

When did the 924 stop using the 2.0L EA831 Audi engine?

Was the 924 with the 2.5L motor sold in the US?

After the ‘82 model year. In the ‘83 model year it was replaced by the 944.

When did the 924 stop using the 2.0L EA831 Audi engine?

The NA RoW models were produced until the ‘85 model year. The Turbo was discontinued in ‘84. As of ‘86 the 924 S took over.

Was the 924 with the 2.5L motor sold in the US?

Yes but only for the ‘87 and ‘88 model years

Thanks dapatch, had no idea there was a 5 year period of no 924 sales. While an 87-88 model sounds like the best, I think the '80 that I got is a good balance of simplicity and reliability for a toy car.
