Some of you may remember these hart breaking pics from a short while ago. It was why why’s 924 going up in flames.

Well I am very happy to say she is back on the road again. I still have a couple of cosmetics to fix up but she is running sweet as. The next job is to fix the vibration in the drive line. And I will swap the 4 speed for a 5 speed while I have it apart. The down side of it all is apparently I promised the wife that after I bought 924 No5 that I would not buy anymore.... So I am now parting out a 81 N/A. and looks like the 81 turbo will be going also.I am in Brisbane Queensland Australia and if anyone is looking for parts or a work in progress 81 turbo PM me.

Nicely done. Love the sticker!

If the "vibration" work includes engine mounts and you're thinking Vibratech let me know as I just sent a mail off to them today about a set - maybe we can save some postage?

PM on it's way about the parting of the 81 NA.

Cheers,

Oh yea I for got to add my close call .. Well I started it up a few yrs ago and all of a sudden there was a sizzlin sound and puffs of white smelly smoke..the result was crispy wires , when they go they go like a fuse on a firecracker. i had lots of smoke and lots of burnt wires to fix it was
a real pita though i was able to splice my wire loom.

Very glad to see my baby has gone to a good home. I hope you get many years of enjoyment out of her.

The dream is still very much alive, just saving the pennys for another Porsche to once again grace my driveway.
